Hey, I’m Freya.

I want to help you create a home you love with a budget you can afford.

Sorrel Interiors was founded in 2024 with the belief that inspiring interiors can and should be for everyone.

With almost 9 years experience in high end residential and show home design I have a wealth of knowledge to draw on and firmly believe that enjoyable interior design doesn’t have to be exclusive to those who can afford an interior designer!

My Approach

It works like this - we arrange a call to discuss the space or spaces you want to redesign. If you have some images you like then that’s great, otherwise we can find some together. Ideally you would share with me some photographs of the room and have an idea of an overall budget for the work.

Once we have decided on a direction I will go away and create a space plan, mood board and links to the products I suggest. We will meet for another call where I can present it to you and we can discuss the scheme.

Then it’s up to you! The beauty of working like this means that you can spread the cost of the work to suit your budget. For example, you can order larger furniture one month and follow up later with smaller pieces and accessories.

FAQ

  • First things first, don't be nervous. During the consultation we will look at a multitude of images to see what stands out to you and what could work for your space. Hopefully you will leave this meeting feeling in safe hands and excited to see the scheme!

  • For the last 4 years I have designed show homes for the UK's top developers which means that I source from high street stores in order to make the homes look and feel achievable for a range of budgets. Even if it's just a lick of paint and some new accessories, I can help!

  • Yes of course! Feel free to pop me an email and I can send you some example schemes. I don't have a house style and the design will be lead by what you like and want to achieve so don't take the style in the example schemes too seriously. What works for one client might not work for you!

  • I understand this is tricky. I am used to doing this for show homes however I will suggest a few shades that I think will work for your room based on its position and amount of natural light. You can then sample these and decided which one looks best. Sometimes half the battle with paint colours is just narrowing it down!

  • I'm more than happy to come out and measure the room and any furniture you wish to use. As I'm sure you can appreciate this will cost my time and my travel so if you are on a budget then you can provide these details yourself. I can give pointers on how to do it in our consultation!

  • The prices are listed above this section on my website.

  • My husband won't let me name a baby Sorrel so thought I'd use the beautiful name for this!

Louise - Salisbury, Wiltshire

Living Room scheme centered on the clients existing Ercol coffee table and collection of handmade pottery. A focal point was added and we embraced the natural light that floods the room by using soft blues and natural materials.

Lindsay & Paul - Salisbury, Wiltshire

Principle Bedroom scheme that took inspiration and the colour palette from original Edwardian tiles in the fireplace. A large statement headboard was introduced to add opulence and drama whilst other elements, like the clients antique bedside tables were retained.
